FAQ

How much do you charge?
Our charge out rate is $40 per hour (2018).

Are you experienced?
Since 2006, we have created Architectural Woodwork Shop Drawing Submittals for over 500 projects throughout Canada.

Do you supply free estimates?
Yes, but not always. This depends on the current amount of projects in our schedule. In order to supply you with an accurate estimate, we need to be familiar with the entire project, including all the details and your scope of work on the project. We can however try to work within your budget. Simply email us all the information required, including when you would need the Shop Drawings completed and your total budget. We can then let you know if it’s possible.

We don’t want to spend too much for Shop Drawings, how can we avoid spending more than we need to?
The easiest way to reduce the cost of your Shop Drawing Submittals is to be organized. It’s important that we receive all the information in the beginning stages of the drawing process. Please be sure to supply us with a list outlining your scope of work on the project, the architectural drawings, specifications, all approved change orders, site dimensions (if possible), plastic laminate colours, material substitutions, edgebanding materials and thicknesses, hardware model numbers that you would like to see listed and anything else that might be helpful. The more information you can supply us in the beginning stages of the drawing process the better.

Can you provide us with Shop Drawings that will accommodate AWMAC requirements?
Yes. We have completed many AWMAC projects throughout Canada and we are experienced with the requirements of AWMAC Shop Drawing Submittals.

How much lead time do you require?
It might be possible for us to start on your Shop Drawings right away. This depends on the current amount of projects in our schedule.

Our company is located 4000km away from your office, is that a problem?
No. Although we do have local customers here in our own city, most of our customers are located throughout this great country. We currently have customers in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

How long will it take to receive our completed Shop Drawings?
Obviously each project is different in size and complexity so it is difficult to answer this question. Typically, a required completion date is supplied to us by our customers in the beginning of the drawing process so that we can be sure to meet their schedule.

How will the completed Shop Drawings be sent to us?
The completed Shop Drawings will be provided to you in a PDF format via email for you to review and forward on to the project’s general contractor or architect. A Cad file can also be supplied upon request for any complex shaped items on the project that will require CNC machining.

When will we receive an invoice?
Once you have communicated to us that our Shop Drawing Submittal has been
approved by the architect, we will then send you an invoice by mail or email for the full amount. You will then have an additional 30 days from the date shown on our invoice to provide us with full payment.

I have more questions regarding your services. Can I contact you to discuss this further?
Yes, of course. You can call or email us anytime including evenings and weekends. Please contact us in whatever way is most convenient for you.
Please forward all your questions to Paul Pascoli.
